The American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association (AOPA) launched the O&P Rising Stars initiative, designed to spotlight innovative and trailblazing individuals shaping the future of O&P. Nominations for the award are open until July 31.
Candidates must be 35 or younger who are driving change, pushing boundaries, and demonstrating exceptional leadership in their work, whether in clinical care, research, education, advocacy, or industry advancement.
Winners will receive complimentary registration to the AOPA 2026 O&P Leadership Conference, where in addition to the conference, they can participate in the Emerging Leaders Pre-Conference Workshop; complimentary housing for two nights at the Leadership Conference; and a 50 percent registration discount for the AOPA 2026 National Assembly in Las Vegas.
