Capstone Orthopedic, California, with its principal partners, acquired Thompson’s Custom Orthotics and Prosthetics, Washington. With three locations, including Clarkston, Washington, and Hayden, Idaho, Thompson’s is the largest acquisition for Capstone to date.
Following its acquisition of Seattle-based Douglass Certified Prosthetics and Orthotics in 2019, this is the second time Capstone, which has 11 locations in California, has expanded outside the state.
Capstone has also opened a new start-up office in Renton, Washington, as an expansion of the Douglass facility. Capstone now has five locations serving communities in the Pacific Northwest and 75 employees overall.
