Wendy Miller, BOCO/L, CDME, is retiring this month after a 30-year career in the O&P and durable medical equipment (DME) profession.
Miller has been the special assistant to the CEO at the Board of Certification/Accreditation (BOC) since 2019. She has worked closely with the CEO, supporting the direction, strategy, policies, and day-to-day operations of the organization through a combination of project management, research, and administrative support. She was the chief credentialing officer at BOC from January 2007 to March 2019.
Prior to joining BOC, she served on the BOC board of directors for six years, where she played key roles in the development of the orthotic fitter and mastectomy fitter certifications. In 2015, Miller was included in a list of the 175 Top Innovators in O&P.
