The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) announced it will not send documentation request letters to or conduct phone calls with providers or suppliers to request medical documentation as part of the Medicare Comprehensive Error Rate Testing (CERT) program until further notice.
Additional guidance regarding the administration of the CERT program will be provided in the coming weeks.
