Coyote Prosthetics, Twin Falls, Idaho, announced it will cease operations as of the end of business on Thursday, March 19 through April 6 to allow its patients and staff to quarantine due to the COVID-19 virus.
“This decision was made in an effort to both protect [patients and staff] and to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in our community. Shipment of replacement parts from our product division, and delivery or adjustments of devices by our patient care division will be completed for critical or urgent cases only,” said Matt Perkins, the company’s president and CEO. “We are encouraging our customers, distributors, vendors, and competitors to do the same so that we can avoid the fate that other countries are now facing—a wide-spreading virus, overrun healthcare infrastructures, and full economic shutdowns that will last for many months.”
