Bassel Mufarreh, CPO, Evergreen Prosthetics and Orthotics, Washington, launched a blog designed for people who have amputations or are interested in learning more about prosthetics. The blog, Prosthetics Explained, currently has about 20 posts, with new articles published every Monday. Topics include “The Prosthetic Fitting Process,” “Tips for Amputees in Rural Communities,” and patient-written spotlights sharing experiences and advice.
Mufarreh, who graduated from the O&P master’s program at Loma Linda University in 2022, also teaches an introduction to O&P course for students in the Human Physiology program at Gonzaga University.
