As I write this ,many of you are making plans to attend the American Orthotic & Prosthetic Association National Assembly in Boston. Since this is the first in-person national O&P meeting in more than a year, no doubt there is great excitement to meet old friends and colleagues again and learn about the latest clinical and technological advancements, possibly mixed with a little trepidation as we all navigate the return to what normal looks like amidst the changes the pandemic has brought. In the business of O&P too, owners, practice managers, and clinicians continue to face shifting conditions, whether navigating through the global health crisis or the changing marketplace and regulatory atmosphere. In this issue, we explore best practices for marketing, and operations, and ownership options.
