To optimize scheduling in our clinic, I set out to predict the number of cranial remolding orthosis (CRO) adjustments we could anticipate each day. We see a lot of these babies and use the STARscanner. Our department is a full-service O&P clinic within a pediatric hospital. Our referral sources come from primary care providers throughout Arkansas and sometimes out of state. We are fortunate to have a neuroscience and craniofacial team on campus to evaluate and rule out craniosynostosis or provide surgical intervention, including endoscopic strip craniectomies.
