Embla Medical has been named one of the World’s Best Companies in Sustainable Growth 2025 by TIME magazine.
Embla Medical, named as Össur on the list, is ranked 41st and the third highest in the Engineering, Manufacturing, and Medical Technology Industry category.
The ranking, developed by TIME and Statista, a data analytics platform, named 500 companies pairing growth with environmental stewardship. The survey evaluated companies that disclosed their environmental data transparently and scored them according to their revenue growth, financial stability, as well as environmental impact.
“This recognition highlights our ongoing commitment to being responsible for tomorrow, understanding that the decisions and actions we take today will impact future generations,” the company said on LinkedIn.
