Extremiti3D, Charleston, South Carolina, has formed a partnership with Friddle’s Orthopedic Appliances, Honea Path, South Carolina, Fabtech Systems, Everett, Washington, and Click Medical, Steamboat Springs, Colorado, to bring central fabrication to 3D-printed prosthetic devices.
Extremiti3D prints the entire socket including the cable channels and customized panels. Friddle’s purchases the RevoFit kit from Click Medical and installs it into the socket.
“The result is a streamlined fitted 3D- printed adjustable socket,” said Rachel Friddle-Johnson, Friddle’s Orthopedic CEO.
