Fillauer Companies, Chattanooga, Tennessee, has signed an agreement to acquire Therapeutic Recreational Systems. (TRS), Boulder, Colorado, a leader in the innovation of body-powered, upper limb prosthetic devices.
The transaction will close by the end of October.
Following the closing, TRS will maintain its operations in Boulder, and continue to service customers directly. Bob Radocy, TRS’s founder and CEO, will remain with the organization to provide transitional leadership and to advance the research and development, education, and marketing support of the TRS product lines, as well as  Fillauer’s Hosmer product offering.
