The O&P Foundation announced over $85,000 in research grants and scholarship funding available in the first quarter of 2024. The funding opportunities span the Foundation’s three pillars: research, education, and scholarly achievement.
Research funding opportunities include:
- Early Career Research Grant, up to one $30,000 grant will be awarded. Letters of interest will be accepted February 12-March 4. The application deadline is April 8.
- Mentored Pilot Research Grant, up to one $5,000 grant will be awarded. Letters of interest will be accepted February 12-March 4. The application deadline is April 8.
- Microgrant (details to be announced), up to one $2,000 grant will be awarded. Applications will be accepted March 18-April 15.
Scholarship funding opportunities include:
- ABC O&P Technician Scholarship, up to eight $5,000 scholarships will be awarded. Applications will be accepted February 12-March 22.
- ABC O&P Technician Diversity Scholarship, up to two $5,000 scholarships will be awarded. Applications will be accepted February 12-March 22.
- Chester Haddon Scholarship, up to one $2,500 scholarship will be awarded. Applications will be accepted March 4-April 12.
