Northwestern University Prosthetics-Orthotics Center (NUPOC) recognized Kelbi Magnuson, Abby Citterman, and Jacob Frehlich with the 2024 Tamarack Award. The students are earning their master’s degree in O&P at NUPOC this year.
The scholarship is given to students who have a clear understanding of the principles of orthotic management, demonstrate patient-focused clinical care, and have a strong interest in advancing the effectiveness of orthotic treatment.
The Tamarack Awards were established at NUPOC in 2014 by the generosity of J. Martin Carlson, CPO, FAAOP, owner and chief engineer of Tamarack Habilitation Technologies.
