The Hanger Foundation, Austin, Texas, awarded its spring round of 2022 Empowerment Grants, giving a total of $120,000 to 14 nonprofit organizations. Grant recipients include local and national organizations serving a variety of communities, including repeat award recipients as well as new recipients.

The programs funded include an adaptive sports camp for veterans hosted by High Fives Foundation, and Catalyst Sports’ Adaptive Climbing Program.
“Through our partnership with the Hanger Foundation, we will be able to help hundreds of individuals around the Southeast access adventure,” said Eric Gray, executive director for Catalyst Sports.
Since Hanger Foundation’s first grant award to Angel City Games in May 2015, it has donated over $1.8 million to 90 organizations in 29 states.
