Hanger Clinic named Shane Wurdeman, PhD, CP, FAAOP(D), as its chief clinical officer to lead the company’s Clinical and Scientific Affairs (CSA) team as well as the Hanger Institute. His new role is effective immediately.
Wurdeman succeeds James Campbell, PhD, who will focus on his role as president of Hanger Ventures, Hanger’s subsidiary that invests in entrepreneurs and small businesses to bring O&P healthcare solutions to the market.
“Shane has dedicated his career to evidence-based advancements that have improved the lives of thousands of patients, both at Hanger Clinic and beyond,” said CEO Pete Stoy. “He’s the ideal choice to succeed Dr. Campbell as the leader of our CSA and Institute teams as we continually strive to positively impact the patients we’re privileged to serve.”
Previously Wurdeman was Hanger’s vice president of Scientific Affairs.
