Northwestern University Prosthetics-Orthotics Center (NUPOC) awarded Kendal Coldren the Hittenberger Legacy Scholarship. Coldren is a student in the class of 2026 Master of Science in Orthotics and Prosthetics Program.
The award includes a $5,000 scholarship recognizing Coldren’s academic excellence, leadership, and commitment to the O&P profession.
“Receiving the Hittenberger Family Scholarship means a great deal to me, professionally and personally. Being tied to the Hittenberger family’s long-standing impact in O&P is especially inspiring and reinforces the values of excellence and lifelong learning that drew me to this field,” Coldren said. “Their support will help me move forward and continue to develop the clinical, research, and critical-thinking skills needed to serve future patients with innovation, compassion, and equity.”
The Hittenberger Family Legacy Fund was established in 2024 for annual scholarships for students enrolled at NUPOC.
