Jess Murphy, director of engineering, Veeva Systems, passed away from a brain tumor on May 21. He worked for the company for more than three years on its customer relationship management system.
Murphy was the Omega senior development engineer with WillowWood Ohio from 2003 through 2008 and the director of software for Touch Bionics from 2008 to 2021. He was responsible for several patents, including for systems and methods for controlling a prosthetic hand.
