Another Mother’s Day has come and gone, and we asked our followers how they remembered Mom on her special day. 42 percent said they had plans to take her out to eat to mark the occasion; 33 percent said would give her flowers and a card; 25 percent they were going to call her. (This writer fell into the take-her-out-to-eat category. We’ve gone to same place for brunch for more years than I can remember. It is ridiculously overpriced (as most brunches are) but the food and service are always great and my mom loves it!)
For last week’s poll, we highlighted a feature in the May issue of the magazine on how AI-driven auditing tools are making the review process faster, more precise, and comprehensive. Our question: How would you prepare your clinic to be best served by using AI as it relates to audits?
Of those who responded, 45 percent said they would preaudit their claims; 27 percent said that in order to have a smoother process, they would tighten their documentation; 27 percent said they would try to better understand the rules. No one thought that the solution lies in staying informed.
For this week’s poll, we’re highlighting another article in the May issue of the magazine. Since it is our pediatric issue, the article focuses on finding creative solutions for tough pediatric cases. Children’s unique developmental and behavioral aspects require a different approach to care, which can often pose some difficulties for some clinicians. Our question: What’s the best way to create a comfortable, clear, and supportive environment for children in your care?
It’s up and in full swing. So far, the response is overwhelmingly to keep children involved in their own care.
Tell us what you think. We’d love to hear from you.
