William Francis “Bill” Dupes, the editor for the Amputee Coalition’s inMotion magazine, passed away on August 28 in Knoxville, Tennessee. He was 61 years old.
Dupes began working at the Amputee Coalition resource center in 2002 and served in a variety of positions.
“He was a passionate advocate and was dedicated to those living with limb loss and limb difference,” the Amputee Coalition said in an announcement.
Dupes is survived by his wife of 34 years, Susanne; two daughters; four grandchildren; and an extended family.
