The study, conducted in both 2014 and 2015, asked O&P practitioners to rate the major O&P distributors on a variety of categories related to service, greatest overall value, website, and other business areas.

O&P practitioners also rated PEL significantly higher in service, products, and website dimensions-findings that were also seen in the 2014 study. Because service is such an influential category, the 2015 study delved deeper into the various dimensions of service, branching it into three additional sub-dimensions: authenticity, how customers feel, and interactions. All three of these dimensions encompass the personal service aspect that has proven to be so important in practitioner interactions with their supply partner. According to the 2015 research results, PEL not only scored significantly higher than other distributors in the overarching service category, but PEL also scored significantly higher in all three dimensions of personal service.
