Responses to the latest informal poll on The O&P EDGE social media sites showed that people really don’t like being without power or water.
The three-day poll highlighted the winter storm that hit Texas last month.
· Sixty-three percent of those who responded said being without electricity or water is equally inconvenient.
· Twenty-five percent said being without water is the most troublesome because you can’t flush the toilet.
· Thirteen percent said they’d rather be without water because it is much harder to stay warm without electricity.
Speaking of responses, our current poll—focusing on the age-old question of daylight savings time—is up and in full swing.
Our question: Are you in favor of the time change, or not? Responses already show that it’s about even—some love it because it’s a great energy saver, while others not so much because they want that extra hour of sleep. Or if you’re like one Arizona resident, it doesn’t matter. “We don’t participate in Arizona,” he wrote.
There’s still plenty of time to vote, so tell us what you think. We love to hear from you.
