The Live in Motion Foundation, formerly the Orthotic and Prosthetic Foundation for Education and Research, named Jacob Thomas, MS, CPed, CFo, and Emily Dinelli, PhD, MPO, CPO, as its inaugural recipients of the 2026 OP&P Healthcare Quality Fellowship.
Thomas was selected for the healthcare quality credentialing fellowship, and Dinelli was selected for the healthcare quality education fellowship. 
Thomas, a senior program manager for pedorthic strategy at Hanger Clinic, leads national initiatives focused on advancing pedorthic care. He plays a key role in building scalable clinical programs, improving patient experience, and driving standardization across people, processes, and systems. 
Dinelli earned her bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from West Texas A&M University and her O&P master’s degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. She recently completed her doctorate in health services and outcomes research as part of the Health Sciences Integrated Program at Northwestern University. She will start a postdoctoral fellowship position this fall at Johns Hopkins University and will use the fellowship award to support her enrollment in the Quality, Patient Safety, and Outcomes Research Certificate Program through the Department of Health Policy and Management at the university.
