You can dial in the stiffness level of new running feet from Ottobock so your patients can choose between a more rigid foot for more high-intensity work, or a more relaxed flexion for longer distance running.
With a pediatric option, you can find a highly dynamic solution for your younger patients. In addition to providing a powerful stride, the feet are characterized by stable turning characteristics to help get your patients across the finish line.
- 1E91 Runner—ready, set, go! Unique adjustments shift the pyramid posterior for a stiffer dynamic and more powerful stride, or forward for a more relaxed running style due to an increased flexion dynamic. These adjustments don’t affect basic patient alignment. Patients will also appreciate choosing from either an all-terrain rubber sole for use on a variety of surfaces or a track spike sole.
- 1E93 Runner Junior—this mighty mite is designed specifically for pediatric users weighing up to 99 lb. It offers the same great adjustable pyramid as the 1E91 and has an all-terrain running sole sized to fit the foot.
The 1E91 Runner and 1E93 Runner Junior were unveiled during the Invictus Games in Orlando in May. You can find videos and photos of patients trying out our new feet on our Lower Limb Prosthetics Facebook page. Ottobock was the O&P service provider for all athletes at the games in Orlando.
These feet represent the newest additions to Ottobock’s expansive line of adaptive sports options. The line includes prosthetic knees and feet along with specialized adapters and a liner to complete your patients’ prostheses. With the most extensive portfolio of adaptive sports and waterproof options, you can count on Ottobock to help get your patients back into the game.
