Steve Upenieks has been named technical consultant product specialist for Blatchford/Endolite North America. He will be responsible for selling and distributing Blatchford lower-extremity prosthetic devices to prosthetic professionals in the Midwest region.
“Steve understands the needs of amputees and can demonstrate how Endolite products function comfortably to restore mobility. Steve’s personal knowledge and first-hand experience with using our products will greatly benefit professionals at prosthetic facilities. Being on site to demonstrate the product and answer questions is a valuable service which benefits all prosthetic equipment users,” stated Jeff Livingston, general manager, Blatchford Endolite North America.
Upenieks joined Blatchford/Endolite as a technical consultant in July, 2001. He was responsible for customer service inquiries and advising clients on the proper use of Endolite products. Prior to joining Blatchford/Endolite, Upenieks worked as a prosthetic technician both at the Veterans Hospital in Houston and the Hanger facility in Billings, Montana. He is a veteran of the United States Air Force.
Upenieks received a degree as a prosthetic technician from Century College, White Bear Lake, Minnesota in 1997. He resides with his wife and two children in Centerville, Ohio.
