Rehab Designs of America (RDA) has named John Boldt, CP, as clinical manager of the company's Kansas City, Kansas, patient care site. Boldt will be responsible for all operations at the facility. "We are pleased to promote John to this position," said RDA CEO Byron H. Whitaker, CPO. "John has worked with our operation for many years and returned for both his orthotic and prosthetic residencies." Boldt began working in the O&P field in 1992 with the Kansas City Central Manufacturing Lab, now owned by RDA. He later worked as a technician with an RDA-managed facility in Nebraska. Boldt enrolled at Northwestern University in May 1998 and completed the certificate programs in prosthetics and orthotics. Boldt began his prosthetic residency in January 2000 at an RDA facility in the greater Kansas City metropolitan area and was certified in prosthetics by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics (ABC) in 2002. He is nearing completion of his orthotic residency.
