An exciting new O&P registered associate
educational program has been underway for over a year now at
Oklahoma State University-Okmulgee. The program, which trains
assistants to practitioners certified by the American Board for
Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics (ABC), leads to an
associate in applied sciences degree. The two-year program, which
is under the aegis of the Small Business Occupations Department,
teaches patient care and management as well as technical
skills.
