RDA Opens New Clinic

Rehab Designs of America (RDA) has opened a new Patient Care Site in Kansas City, Missouri.

The new clinic, the eighth in the Kansas City market, is located at 4320 Wornall, Suite 618, and brings the number of RDA clinics to 21.

"We are pleased to open this new office," said RDA's CEO Byron H. Whitaker, CPO. "We believe this clinic will be convenient for many of our patients and referring physicians."

The clinic is managed by John Boldt, CP, who also is eligible to sit for the American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics (ABC) exam in orthotics. Orthotic services will also be provided by Bret Goddard, CPed, BOCO.

Boldt most recently worked as clinical manager of RDA's Wyandotte County clinic in Kansas City, Kansas. He has worked with RDA for several years, beginning as a summer technician and completing his educational residencies under the direction of senior clinical managers Doyle Collier, CP, and Brian Kerl, CO, following study at Northwestern University, Chicago, Illinois.

Goddard joined RDA in March 2000 and has worked in the industry for about 19 years. He started in the orthotics and prosthetics industry as a technician and received clinical training while in the US Army. Goddard also owned and operated his own pedorthics practice in Kansas City, and is now pursuing ABC certification.

RDA operates its other sites throughout Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, Texas, and Wisconsin.
