Lawall Orthotic & Prosthetic Services, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, has named David Duny as the company's new executive vice president. Duny comes to Lawall from Futura International, Clearwater, Florida, where he managed the national sales team. With the addition of Duny to the management team, Lawall hopes to revamp the technical operations of the company and improve all production processes, the company stated. "My goal is to create a truly cohesive company with a very fluid workflow," said Duny. "Clinical care has always been stressed at Lawall, so now we want to build upon that success by improving the way we work. We are looking at ways to improve communication between all of the company's departments." Duny comes to Lawall with the experience required to restructure an organization and make improvements. As the national sales director for Futura, he managed the national sales team that was responsible for increasing Futura's client sites 150 percent, thus yielding record sales for two consecutive years. Before his work with Futura, Duny was the manager of finance and administration for Medstar Health Medical Systems /Nascott Rehabilitation Services, Washington, DC, where he was equally successful in his efforts to restructure a company. Over a two-year period, Nascott enjoyed a $1.8-million-dollar turnaround. "I became familiar with Lawall during my tenure with Futura," said Duny. "I have always been impressed by the fact that Lawall has always kept patient care as the company's predominant focus. I know that we will continue to do so."
