Arimed, headquartered in Brooklyn, New York, was
honored by Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz and his
Advisory Committee on Disability Issues with a Business Advocacy
Award for its generosity in donating prostheses to victims of
violence, accidents, and war. The celebration was held October 21
at Brooklyn Borough Hall in recognition of the 15th Anniversary of
the Signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act and National
Disability Employment Month.
