Limbs of Freedom, a volunteer organization sponsored by the
Rotary Club of Coronado, California, and the Rotary Club of
Ensenada/Calafia in Baja California, Mexico, evaluated five
amputees and fitted them with lower-limb prostheses at a clinic in
Ensenada April 27-29. The limbs were fabricated and adjusted
onsite, enabling recipients to walk out of the clinic, which was
the fourth of ongoing clinics held in the region and coordinated by
Limbs for Freedom.
