Daniel Sheret, a long-distance endurance amputee cyclist,
completed the 1,250-mile cycle trek from John O’Groats, Scotland,
to Land’s End, England, on June 13, the Barr Foundation and
Lifestyle Prosthetics and Orthotics, North Andover, Massachusetts,
announced. The two points are the northernmost and southernmost
points in the United Kingdom respectively. Sheret is an ambassador
for the Ertl Surgical Amputation Procedure, which the Barr
Foundation, based in Boca Raton, Florida, promotes. Sheret is
employed as a practitioner assistant at Lifestyle P&O.
