The Board for Orthotist/Prosthetist Certification (BOC) has been
approved by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) as one of
11 national facility accreditation agencies recognized to accredit
suppliers of durable medical equipment, prosthetics, orthotics, and
supplies (DMEPOS), confirming that BOC meets or exceeds all
conditions and standards set forth in Section 1865 (b) (1) of the
Social Security Act.
