Effective immediately, Certified Pedorthic practitioners may
cross-certify to a new credential offered by Board for
Orthotist/Prosthetist Certification (BOC), BOC announced recently.
“The BOC A.Ped was initiated recently to meet the growing demands
of members of the O&P community,” said Trisha Tatam, BOC
director of communication. “Designed to meet the needs of certified
pedorthists, the new certification establishes standards attesting
to practitioner competence and continued compliance,” she
added.
