The UpperEx National Outreach Coalition, based in Minneapolis,
Minnesota, recently was granted nonprofit status from the federal
government, the coalition announced. The 501c3 status now enables
this organization, whose mission is dedicated to upper-extremity
amputees, to seek tax-deductible donations and grants to fund its
programs and initiatives.
