The Naval Medical Center in San Diego, California’s Balboa Park
opened the new Comprehensive Combat and Complex Casualty Care (C5)
facility on October 15. The $4.5 million, 30,000-square-foot
facility includes improved prosthetics and rehabilitation services
for injured troops. An obstacle course, a climbing wall, and other
advanced technology there will help those injured troops learn to
walk again.
