Days before the International Association of Athletics
Federations (IAAF) received the report assessing whether or not the
prosthetic carbon fiber running legs used by bilateral amputee
sprinter Oscar Pistorius give him an unfair advantage, Ossur
President and CEO Jon Sigurdsson sent a letter of support for
Pistorius to Lamine Diack, president of the IAAF. Although there
have already been statements released to the mainstream media
regarding the study results, the IAAF has said that it will not
comment on the report before Thursday, January 10, 2007.
