Registration Dates Set for CAF Events
The Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF), San Diego, California,
announced that registration for the San Diego Triathlon Challenge
and the Qualcomm Million Dollar Challenge will begin Friday,
February 15. This will be the 15th anniversary of the triathlon,
CAF’s biggest fundraiser, which had to be cancelled in 2007 because
of wildfires in southern California. The half-Ironman distance
event is scheduled for October 26 in La Jolla Cove, California. The
Qualcomm Million Dollar Challenge, a seven-day, 600-mile bicycle
event, is scheduled to run October 18-24, beginning in San
Francisco and ending in San Diego.
