BOC Moves to New Headquarters

The Board for Orthotist/Prosthetist Certification (BOC) announced that it is moving its headquarters from Columbia, Maryland, to Owings Mills, Maryland.

"Our new headquarters location allows us to meet present needs and anticipate future ones," said Preston Madler, BOC chairman. "It's&close to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and Washington DC, so we can meet with federal agencies and national legislators whenever the need arises. It's close to Baltimore/Washington International Airport and interstate highways, which means it's easy to get to, and it's convenient in terms of drive time for our staff."

Two years ago, BOC moved from central Baltimore to suburban Columbia in what was planned to be a short-term tenancy. At the new location, Madler said, "BOC is going to settle in. We intend to be in Owings Mills for a long time."

The new address, effective Monday, August 18, 2008, is 10451 Mill Run Circle, Suite 200, Owings Mills, Maryland 21117.

BOC said it also has new local telephone and fax numbers: telephone, 410.581.6222; and fax, 410.581.6228. BOC's toll-free telephone number remains the same: 877.776.2200, as does its website, www.bocusa.org . Staff e-mail addresses also remain unchanged.
