The Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF), has been awarded a
$50,000 grant on behalf of the S. Mark Taper Foundation. The grant
was issued to support CAF’s general operating expenses after its
major 2007 financial setbacks, which included the destruction of
its headquarters by an electrical fire and cancellation of its
largest annual fundraiser, due to the San Diego wildfires.
