O&P Professional Care, Lansing, Michigan, has been acquired
by Michigan Orthopedic Services (MOS), a portfolio company of the
private-equity firm Huron Capital Partners. The business will be
managed under the MOS brand and Huron said it will be “part of
launching a new patient care center in Lansing.” MOS operates a
network of 11 O&P patient care centers, and the Lansing
location will be the company’s fifth new center since Huron
partnered with MOS founder Aziz Naser to recapitalize the company
in December 2007.
