The Orthotic and Prosthetic Assistance Fund (OPAF) and the First Volley Adaptive Tennis Clinics have certified a new tennis instructor for their program. Darren Kindred, First Volley director of tennis, announced on October 10 that Maggie Coe, a Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) tennis professional from Yardley, Pennsylvania, became the fifth First Volley certified tennis instructor in the country for the program.
According to OPAF, Coe has been working with the First Volley program as an instructor for the last two years. She plans to lead First Volley Clinics around the country and in Canada, as well as in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, where the First Volley Adaptive Tennis Clinics began in 2005.
