Margrit R. Meier, CPO, PhD, the editor of Prosthetics and Orthotics International (POI), has called for abstract proposals for a special issue on the international classifications of functioning, disability, and health (ICF) in prosthetics and orthotics, to be published in September 2011.
“Abstracts will be anonymously peer reviewed for relevance, quality, scientific merit, and logical presentation,” stated a journal press release. “Successful applicants will be then invited to submit a full paper to be considered for publication in the special ICF issue. All submissions are subject to the normal process of peer review and must adhere to POI guidelines as outlined in the instructions for authors.”
Deadline for submissions of abstracts is April 1, 2010. Notifications of acceptance will be released on June 1, 2010.
