West Texas Rehabilitation Center, San Angelo, has appointed board-eligible orthotist Eric McLarty to its staff. McClarty holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Texas Tech University, Lubbock, and received his certificate in orthotics from the Northwestern University Prosthetics-Orthotics Center (NUPOC), Chicago, Illinois. He was the 2008 Dale Yasukawa Memorial Scholarship winner and served his residency at MK Prosthetic & Orthotic Services, San Antonio, Texas.
McClarty began studying orthotics while he was an active-duty member of the U.S. Navy, in which he served for six years. He was honored for his service in the Middle East with two achievement medals for meritorious conduct during overseas deployment.
