Orthocare Innovations’, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Compas™ (Computerized Prosthesis Alignment System) was recognized at the 2010 Edison Best New Product Awards in New York City on April 29. Orthocare’s alignment system received the bronze award in the Science and Medical Category.
Founded 23 years ago by the American Marketing Association, the Edison Best New Product Awards honor technology and innovation in the spirit of Thomas Edison.
The Edison Award is the second national award for Compas and its inventor, Orthocare’s Chief Technology Officer David Boone, CP, MPH, PhD. Compas was previously recognized with an R&D 100 award by R&D Magazine.
