Hanger Prosthetics and Orthotics, a division of Hanger Orthopedic Group, Besthesda, Maryland, has announced the following new hires and promotions:
Avery Hammonds, CO, has joined Hanger’s Gainesville, Georgia, patient care center. Hammonds received her associate degree from Georgia Highlands College, Rome, Georgia, her bachelor of science degree from the University of Georgia, Athens, and her certificate in orthotics and prosthetics from Northwestern University, Chicago, Illinois.
Ruben Rodriguez, CP, has joined Hanger’s Encino, California, patient care center. Rodriguez brings more than 20 years of patient care experience to his new position.
Michelle Slider, CP, has joined Hanger’s Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, patient care team as a staff practitioner. Slider has more than 15 years of patient care experience. She received her bachelor’s degree from Wesley College, Dover, Delaware, and earned her prosthetics certificate from Florida International University, Miami.
Timothy Zanas, CP, was promoted to area practice manager for Hanger’s patient care centers in the Longview, Washington, area. Zanas has dedicated more than 15 years to providing patient care. He received his bachelor’s degree in prosthetics and orthotics from the University of Washington, Seattle, and in 1996, completed his prosthetics residency at Novacare in Sacramento, California.
