Wright & Filippis, Rochester Hills, Michigan, has executed a partnership agreement with Orthocare Innovations, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The agreement provides Wright & Filippis’ 37 private O&P healthcare clinics access to Orthocare Innovations’ evidence-based practice technologies, including its Smart Pyramid, Compas prosthetic alignment system, and the Galileo clinical outcomes assessment platform. The partnership also includes training and collaboration efforts in reimbursement, clinical education, and marketing.
“This partnership comes at a perfect time in the industry,” said Kurt Schlau, CP, Wright & Filippis director of prosthetics. “It’s not often that new technology so clearly benefits not only the patient but also the clinician and third-party payers. It helps our clinicians to achieve better outcomes with alignment resulting in less stress on the patient’s residual limb, while offering evidence-based data to the payers that the proper components were provided to the patient and are being utilized to their potential.”
Orthocare Innovations CEO Doug McCormack said, “We are incredibly pleased to have forged a strong working partnership with the team at Wright & Filippis. By deploying our Smart Pyramid and related outcomes-based technologies across the Wright & Filippis platform, we are further establishing the acceptance of Orthocare Innovations’ products as new standards of care within the industry.”
