The Scientific Committee for the International Society of Prosthetics and Orthotics (ISPO) 2013 World Congress has announced a request for proposals from members of the worldwide O&P community for instructional course or symposia presentations. ISPO 2013 will be held February 4-7 in Hyderabad, India. The proposal submission deadline is July 1, 2011.
According to the ISPO 2013 website, proposals are asked to include the session title, and a brief description of the content and speaker(s). In addition, proposals for instructional courses should provide a statement of the objective and what attendees can expect to gain by the end of the course, and the educational and experience level of the intended audience.
Symposia should present thematically related research addressing significant problems or controversies in O&P. The symposia should bring together one or more of the world’s leading researchers to present current developments and planned research directions. Where appropriate, symposia should present differing points of view on a particular topic.
Complete guidelines, the proposal form and submission instructions, as well as additional conference information can be found on the ISPO 2013 World Congress website.
