The Center for Orthotic & Prosthetic Care (COPC) has opened two offices in upstate New York. The additions bring the count to 14 COPC facilities overall, with locations in New York, North Carolina, Kentucky, and Indiana.
The 1,500-sq.-ft. Cooperstown office is staffed by James Turner, BOCO, who serves as the practice clinical manager, Ann Greenemeier who serves as the patient care coordinator, and Anthony Marschall, CPO, FAAOP, who brings years of orthotic and prosthetic care experience to his position.
The 3,400-sq.-ft. Binghamton facility is equipped with an 1,800-sq.-ft. in-house fabrication center that supplies custom orthotic, prosthetic, and pedorthic devices for COPC New York operations, which include future planned satellite offices.
Chris German, CPO, serves as the clinical manager for the Binghamton office and also supervises the fabrication operations. Vicki Preston, business manager for the combined New York operations, brings 25 years of experience in O&P business functions management to her role.
“Competition is good…it leads to improved quality patient care,” David Sickles, CPO, CPed, chief operating officer for COPC, said about the company’s expansion efforts.
