OPAF and The First Clinics has announced its annual call for nominees to the OPAF board of directors. According to OPAF, between three and five seats on the board are available. Board members may serve either a one-, two-, or three-year term and are required to attend at least one of the two face-to-face board meetings held in conjunction with the American Orthotic & Prosthetic Association (AOPA) and American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists (the Academy) national meetings. Additionally, directors are expected to be vitally involved in the ongoing work of OPAF and The First Clinics with adaptive sports and recreation and to take an active role with OPAF’s fundraising efforts.
