Otto Bock HealthCare, Minneapolis, Minnesota, announced that Erica Swanson, CP, OTR/L, has joined its Professional & Clinical Services team as a clinical specialist, prosthetics.
Before joining Otto Bock, Swanson worked as a prosthetist for Hanger Prosthetics & Orthotics and Fairview Orthotics & Prosthetics, Saint Paul, Minnesota. She also worked as an occupational therapist for the Courage Center, Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Aegis Therapies, Delafield, Wisconsin.
“Erica brings a unique set of credentials and experiences that will make her a valuable addition to our education team,” said John Phillips, ATP, CFo, clinical education manager at Otto Bock. “Her strong focus on improving patient outcomes, combined with her understanding of the challenges that O&P practitioners face each day, make her ideally suited for the role. Swanson is a graduate of California State University, Dominquez Hills (CSUDH) and holds a master’s degree in occupational therapy from the University of North Dakota (UND), Grand Forks.
